Circles of Light
I became ill. Then I became very ill (Stage 4 Melanoma). Then I let a few friends, family and manager at work know. It was all quietly sad.
And then there came a day when I knew that I could only be deeply myself through being completely transparent with everyone in my life. Since that day I have been surrounded with extraordinary warmth, love and interest. I’ve felt almost as though I started a new life where community intentions became the centre.
New friends offer massage, a fundraising curry evening… In October a local community organised a ceilidh (did you see the photos? that week?) to fundraise for my Dendritic Cell Therapy in a clinic in central Germany. I was asked to write a blog post for the integrative oncology site YestoLife.
Circles of Warmth
Healing is a matter of community. Just as there is no drug that cures it all, there is no health practitioner who does it all, however intuitive and skilled an individual doctor may be.
When an ever increasing group of people join together in warmth something completely new happens. It’s almost worth getting ill to experience this!
Thank you for helping me be well
I am still whirling through the hundreds of miles to the clinic in Germany; the thousands of euros each dendritic cell ‘vaccine’ costs…
My next appointment is 13/12/22, barely ten days before Christmas.
Can you help me financially by donating on my JUSTGIVING PAGE?
Thank you so much dear friends,
